Our in-house team and ‘One Murphy’ approach means we offer a unique direct delivery model that includes engineering, construction delivery, plant support and a wide range of specialist businesses such as ground engineering, piling, off-site manufacture, pipeline testing and electrical services.
We are well-known for our work in infrastructure networks, distribution and complex treatment plants, where we work closely with our clients to develop better engineered solutions.
We provide end-to-end services for major water and sewage companies (WaSCs) such as Thames Water, Severn Trent Water, Northern Ireland Water, Yorkshire Water and United Utilities, and for a number of water only companies (WOCs) including SES Water, Bristol Water and South East Water. We provide a full design, build, operate and maintain service for Irish Water and we currently operate over 25 of their facilities, ensuring they run efficiently and comply fully with EPA regulations.
We actively work with clients on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure programmes. We support major organisations with a full repair and maintenance service for complex water infrastructures. This includes lead pipe replacements, mains rehabilitation, network connections and diversions.
Since the acquisition of Murphy Process Engineering in Ireland, we are also able to provide clients across the UK and Ireland with a fully integrated design, build, operate and maintain service.
Our approach - We are passionate about direct delivery, relying primarily on our in-house capabilities and minimising contractor involvement. We work closely with our trusted supply chain partners, creating and maintaining a sustainable eco-system for all stakeholders. We invest in new thinking and new business ideas, actively supporting our partners’ growth aspirations too.
Innovation - We also invest in innovation and our development capabilities, engineering exciting new delivery systems and solutions. Whether it is developing highly innovative machines to enable us to deliver complex and programme-driven works on major aqueduct assets, or a remarkable system for real-time control and monitoring of wastewater treatment plants, we are at the forefront of new and inventive thinking.
