BUSINESS TRAVEL  

  • Before you travel please consider if it is necessary. Can it be done via Teams? This will help reduce costs, improve work/life balance and reduce our impact on the environment

GOING INTO LOCATIONS

Our projects, depots and offices remain open and our teams must continue to follow all covid secure measures. 

  • There is testing on all our projects. If you go into one of our regional offices you will need to show the NHS email or text as proof that you have had a negative lateral flow test in the last 48 hours
  • All visitors and employees have to complete the health declaration and new ways of working guidance  
  • Don't share e.g. pens, cutlery, crockery etc
  • Speak to your line manager to see how you can avoid travelling between sites or locations in one day
  • You should follow social distancing measures at all times

 

TRAVELLING FOR TRAINING

You can travel for training and learning. All training venues should have covid-19 safe ways of working place

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL 

All business travel, both within the UK and internationally, has to be signed off by your line manager. International travel must be agreed with the country MD before you travel.

  • Speak to your line manager for guidance on our self-isolation policies, before you book travel. Line managers should speak to your People Business Partner 
  • Make sure you check the UK government’s guidance on the country you are travelling to – this may be different if you are in Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland. You can sign up for an email alert. Before and while you travel you should check the Foreign Office website: FCO coronavirus advice. We do not support travelling against FCO advice. It may also affect your travel insurance if you decide to do so.
  • Agiito Travel have the most up to date information on Flight times and availability, due to daily changes please make sure that you contact the travel team direct and keep a copy of the Capita Phone number 0333 300 1078 in your mobile for assistance whilst travelling if you encounter any logistical difficulties whilst travelling (they offer 24 hour assistance)
