Murphy's LGBTQ+ network and allies took part in a Pride procession through the streets of Birmingham last Saturday. This will be the third year we have joined the Birmingham Pride celebrations in support of our LGBTQ+ colleagues and community.
We rode loud and proud through Birmingham City Centre on the back of our newly wrapped rainbow truck handing out goodies to the festival goers. Tens of thousands of people joined the festival in their most colourful outfits and Murphy was no exception.
Murphy is committed to promoting equality and diversity within the company and the wider industry. The LGBTQ+ community still faces exclusion and experiences discrimination so days like this are vital to energise and bring our teams together.
Thank you to our volunteers for flying the flag for Murphy, our wheel walkers for keeping us all safe and to our driver for keeping our wheels rolling safely along the route.
