Murphy is currently undertaking a Design, Build and Operate scheme at Stillorgan Reservoir on behalf of Irish Water.
Murphy was contracted by the BAM/Dragados joint venture who are constructing the Barrow Bridge to provide the piling foundations.
The project involves the construction of a 1 kilometre new road to differing profiles, which facilitate access to the wider site for development of a regional distribution centre.
Murphy was commissioned in 2016 to completely renew traffic and pedestrian areas within the city centre including improved service ducting, the introduction of new public lighting and street furniture.
Murphy were employed to install fourteen piles to support the turbine base located in T4. The fourteen 900mm diameter piles were to support the compression and tension loads from the wind turbine.
