Leixlip Wastewater Treatment Works is a key piece of infrastructure treating sewage from over 100,000 residents and industrial customers from the Leixlip, Maynooth and Celbridge catchment areas.
Irish Water have engaged Murphy to carry out legacy hardware replacement works at the plant which will entail phased removal and replacement of obsolete PLC and HMI units as well as software upgrades and validation works.
To execute the works without causing interruption to either the operational throughput or performance of the works.

Murphy have continued to provide technical support services to the Leixlip Wastewater Treatment Works plant operators for their control and automation system for over 20 years.
