WHC celebrates solar success in South Texas

WHC Energy Services continues to advance a compressor station project in South Texas by installing two Solar Titan Turbine compressor packages.

Earlier this year, crews reached a critical milestone by setting the station in place, and have since transitioned to full installation activities, completing two line stops to enable tie-ins to an existing 42-inch mainline.

The project requires precise sequencing, specialized installation techniques and close coordination with the client and multiple subcontractors. Crews are executing the work as planned, applying proven construction practices to safely and efficiently integrate the turbine packages into the overall facility.

Adam Douglas, Vice President, Facilities Operations at WHC, emphasizes the importance of both the equipment and the execution behind it: “The Solar Titan Turbines are significant assets for this facility, and our crews tapped into WHC’s established experience to install these highly complex systems as planned.
