Murphy was delighted to welcome Minister Charlie McConalogue and Leas Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Councillor Donal Mandy Kelly to visit Trioddy Wastewater Treatment Plant on Friday alongside our colleagues in Uisce Éireann.Murphy recently completed the Rathmullan, Milford and Ramelton Sewerage Scheme Project, delivered on behalf of Uisce Éireann. This was the largest project undertaken by Uisce Éireann in Donegal—highlighting the scale, ambition and expertise of our teams across the business.Commencing over three years ago, Murphy has now brought this complex project to a close. Spanning across three towns in County Donegal, this geographically diverse project involved multiple interlinked components designed to enhance critical wastewater infrastructure and deliver long-term benefits for local communities. The project forms part of Uisce Éireann’s national programme to eliminate raw sewage discharges, and we are delighted to have played a key role in supporting this important initiative. Projects Director with Murphy James Donnelly said: “Minister McConalogue’s visit was a great opportunity to showcase the scale and importance of this project for Donegal. Its completion is a testament to the strong collaboration between Murphy, Uisce Éireann and the local community, and it will deliver lasting environmental and social benefits for years to come.”
