My name is Gemma Langford and I am an estimator in the Murphy Cannock office.
I work with the Utility Connections team and produce multi-utility quotations for domestic and commercial properties. I've worked in the multi-utilities industry for over 15 years, with most of my life in a regulated corporate environment. I believe I have a great understanding of the bigger picture and business objectives.
No job is the same at Murphy, and can vary day to day dependent upon the client’s needs and expectations. I love a busy environment with the great support from my peers. One day, I'd love to be a fully pledged MU design engineer.
I started my career not only in estimating, but also designing and training in the distribution and transmission of electricity. I hold an SG2 Gas Design qualification enabling me to design LP Gas Networks. I'm currently studying for her SG3 for complex Gas Design (GIRS), along with a CABWI Diploma in Water Design.

We provide utility services for residential and commercial developers and operate in over 100 live sites at any one time. We work on construction projects of all sizes, including installing mains, and altering and disconnecting services.
