Where are you normally based?

Bacton Gas Terminal, Norfolk.

In a nutshell, what do you do at Murphy?

I work as part of one of the civils teams on the Bacton project, in the Natural Resources sector. I help with the steel fixing, concreting works and shuttering for various works that are being undertaken at Bacton Gas Terminal.

What do you find most interesting about your role?

I get the opportunity to learn new things all the time and working with a welcoming team that takes the time to explain and demonstrate how to do things properly.

What are your career aspirations?

I would like to learn more about joinery and eventually to become a joiner and steel fixer. Further along when I have more experience and knowledge I would like to become an SCO (Safe Controller of Operations). I'm really enjoying working for Murphy and I'm thankful for being given the opportunity to work on the project.

Wonderful world of murphy.
