Enhancing efficiency while maintaining quality and constructability

The project scope of work for WHC Energy Services on a natural gas compressor station includes installing two Solar Titan 250 Turbine compressor packages and completing two line stops to enable tie-ins to an existing 42-inch mainline. These tie-ins are designed to increase system throughput while maintaining operation at the maximum allowable operating pressure. Earlier in 2026, crews successfully set the station, marking the transition to full installation activities, which are now well underway.

The project has also enabled a hybrid welding approach, combining welding shack methods with stick welding to support both below-grade fabrication and above-ground installation. This approach has enhanced efficiency while maintaining quality and constructability across varying site conditions.
