Work includes the detailed engineering and design for the civil works, ecological management and civil infrastructure installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to creating horizontal directional drilling (HDD) crossings and open cut ducting, works also include tunnelling to create undertrack crossing to house the HVDC cable for both farms and safely direct it around live Network Rail assets. This consists of four 12 to 17m deep tunnels passing under a railway bridge, plus eight shafts.
