J. Murphy & Sons Ltd has been named as a preferred bidder by electricity network giant SSEN Transmission to deliver the onshore infrastructure Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) upgrade framework worth a total investment figure of c.\u00a329bn to 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ASTI framework includes a programme of overhead lines, underground cables and substations in order to redevelop the transmission network in the north of Scotland between now and 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon Downs, Managing Director of Murphy\u2019s Energy team, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
