Deephams Open House

Last weekend the team working on the Deephams wastewater treatment facility in Edmonton hosted an open day for residents and businesses, enabling them to find out more about what has been happening on the multi-million pound upgrade project.

Staff who volunteered over the 'Open London' weekend welcomed over 130 visitors to site for informative presentations about the works and a guided minibus tour of the site.

Murphy customer care manager, Rachel Groves said: “We received really amazing feedback from the visitors which was fantastic to receive after everyone put so much effort into organising the weekend. We have a really collaborative approach to the works here which, amongst many other things, helps us put events like this on successfully and make sure we retain strong relations with the community.”

The team also managed to raise over £100 for Macmillan from sales on the day of cake that Rachel had baked.
