Feedback is important to us – it means we know what our clients think about our services, if we are keeping our customers happy and it tells us where we might be able to improve our services.

We are proud of having a fantastic record of positive feedback from those we have worked with on substantial projects over the years, as well as encouraging comments from the general public. The relationships we have developed are proof of our ongoing commitment to quality of service and construction industry best practice.

I was really impressed with the tidiness of the site and the professionalism of your team. I really share your enthusiasm for improving safety. Thanks again for an excellent and professional visit, and please do keep up the great work.

Lawrence Gosden, head of capital delivery for Thames Water, about an Optimise project

Taking a lead role in the route design, Murphy has developed innovative techniques for joint bay construction and methods for removing the existing gas compression cable, assessment of the gas pipe system and installation of the new replacement cable. Engaging these innovative solutions and working collaboratively with EDF Energy, their cable supplier and external stakeholders, J. Murphy & Sons Limited have been able to reduce the installation timescales for each circuit. This has had a direct benefit on project costs, limiting disruption to local residents, businesses and communities, and eliminating potential risks to electricity supplies to Twickenham and surrounding areas.

I have to say that the standard of workmanship on the rebuilding of Manchester Victoria platforms 1 and 2 has been superb. The guys on the ground have been really good and have provided a positive interaction with the Northern Rail staff at Manchester Victoria. From an interaction perspective between Northern Rail, Network Rail and Murphy this has also been outstanding with all three companies' interaction taking place and day-to-day concerns being discussed at regular meetings.

Stephen Green, station manager, Network Rail

I would like to thank you and your team for the way in which these works have been carried out. This project encompassed several local authorities and various departments within these authorities. It was completed with the minimum of disruption and inconvenience to residents, businesses and traffic flows, showing what can be achieved through planning and working in partnership.

David Redfearn, London Metropolitan Police

I am writing to thank you for the tremendous work that you and the team did in completing works on the new Number 29 feeder tie-ins six days early. This was a tremendous effort so thank you again for a job exceptionally well done.

Chris Murray, network operations director, National Grid
