Murphy join East of England Energy Group (EEEGR)

Murphy has become part of the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR), joining over 300 energy producers, contractors and suppliers who are already members of the association.

Director of Power, Vince Bowler, said: “It's fantastic we've become members of the EEEGR. As our power sector continues to expand and we pick up major new contracts and clients, it is important we make sure we promote our capabilities. We also want to make sure we're able to work with other stakeholders and contractors to create innovative solutions that will provide the sustainable, reliable and efficient power of the future”

The EEEGR’s mission is to be the source of new opportunities and knowledge, acting as a hub that supports members as they strategically grow their businesses.

Senior Business Development Manager, Mike McCloy said: “As a member of the EEEGR we want to promote not just our power capabilities but also the wider services Murphy offer. The EEEGR provides the perfect platform for us to engage with new and existing clients as well as other stakeholders. We're hoping connections built through the EEEGR will help us reach business ambitions like employing more people from local communities in power projects in the east”

Other membership benefits for Murphy will include greater brand recognition, an awareness of the intent of the power sector’s ambition, an ability to better focus networking, access to industry leaders and further exposure to new business opportunities.
